International SIOE demonstration in Denmark for Freedom of Speech
Posted by sioeengland on February 25, 2008
The 15th March at 13.00 on Gammeltorv in Aalborg, Denmark
Theme: Support freedom of speech – or lose it!
Background/reason: Once again Denmark is under pressure from foreign and domestic islamic forces. After the first muhammed crisis, the media and politicians began to practise self censorship. In Denmark it is not illegal to draw muhammed and no forces should threaten our freedom, democracy and equality.
If we do not want to succumb to threats and riots, the time has come where we must stand up for our freedom. If we do not exercise this freedom, it will disappear. We will carry signs with Kurt Westergaards muhammed cartoon to show that this is legal in our country.
Speeches will be held by Stephen Gash – SIOE England, Martin – SIOE Nederland, Anders Gravers – SIOE Denmark. Other persons who wish to speak are welcome to sign up.
Signs, banners and slogans:
Freedom of speech cannot be bent and manipulated.
Does “extreme freedom of speech” exist?
No death threats for freedom of speech!
Self censorship – no thanks!
This is our country Denmark – and as we say in Denmark: if don’t you like the smell in the bakery – you are free to leave!
Expel the maladjusted!
Stop islamisation of Europe!
